Dinosaurs in
the 21st Century?

In a nutshell...

"A dinosaur in the 21st century is an idea or a pattern of thinking which discriminates based on outdated, dangerous and persistent ideas against innocent people." - Anonymous

This can be racist convictions, sexist belief systems or fundamentalist ideas in any context, for instance.
Very often those ideas manipulate people's insecurities and motivate them to do things they would usually not render: Judging due to dinosaur ideas, for instance, which leads to many other more dangerous dinosaur actions:
Discrimination.
The dangerous thing about dinosaur ideas is that they are often operating more subconsciously than one might expect. Not seldomly, they even torture the person which holds this belief themselves: By spurring insecurities, for instance.
How can this look like?

"We are all dinosaurs. Nobody is a sexist, racist and fundamentalist. And everybody is. It is just about asking the right questions. Or, wanting to?"

"The more questions I ask, the more
dinosaur patterns of thinking can I identify. I start
asking myself why I have not seen it that way before?"
